Story Bible Builder
Answer each section to build one dense canon document for your story world. The right-hand panel assembles a ready-to-install SKILL.md: copy it into a file and add it to Claude as your own skill. Leave anything you don't know blank and it is marked [TBD]. Your draft is kept in this browser.
00Scope check
The working title, the vibe, and which tools future prompts will run through.
01One-line premise
The whole story in one sentence: setup, protagonist role, engine, twist. The compression is the value.
02The thesis
Not plot. The single question every scene answers. If you're stuck: what is your character actually deciding, every time?
03·04Timeline and aesthetic eras
Era by era: the years, what defines it, and its visual signature. Push past "dark and moody" to specific colours, light, texture and grain.
05Factions and powers
What they own or do, what they believe, how they read visually, the gap between public face and actual behaviour, and why they're hard to fight.
06Locations
What it is, three to seven visual tags for prompts, its function in the story, and one line that captures the feel.
07Rules of the world
Short declarative statements. For powers, say how they look and sound on screen.
08Characters
One character at a time, in depth. Three deep characters beat eight shallow ones. Never use the character's name inside the quoted descriptors.
09Relationships and ensemble dynamics
When they share a room: who leads what, who fills silence, who watches? Which pairings are calm, which are charged?
10Structural engines
The recurring chapter shapes, not specific episodes: a heist, a rescue, a confrontation, a flashback. Engines can stack.
11Production rules
The rules you've hard-earned about your own work. Each character's identity markers and never-clauses are added here automatically as locked traits.
